Welcome to our webpage! I am Pam Bennis, Principal of Malibu Elementary. We are a small school that has a large reputation for excellence. Malibu has approximately 325 students and a dedicated group of teachers, staff, parents, and business partners who have helped created a nurturing environment for learning. The school serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Malibu is fully accredited.

This school has a variety of innovative programs that have contributed to our outstanding student success. We strongly promote reading through such programs as Literacy Night and monthly awards for meeting reading goals. Neighborhood preschoolers are invited four times a year to participate in Surflings, an early intervention reading program that offers hands-on activities, strategies for parents, and a book to all who attend. Malibu is also home to the K-3 BRIDGES program for autistic students.

Malibu is a true neighborhood school. Almost 70% of our students live in the walking zone. Many of our students are second generation Malibu Surfers!
