Secondary Course Curriculum Guide
The 2017-2018 Student Guide is now available. The information here is designed to help students entering 6th grade, and their parents, with the selection of courses in middle school. Students and parents are encouraged to look through this publication and talk with their counselor and teachers as part of the course selection process.
John Prine Memorial Scholarship
Mr. John Prine served for many years as principal of Malibu Elementary School. The John Prine Memorial Scholarship is a $500 scholarship awarded to candidates who complete this application and meet the prerequisites listed.

Connect2Compete (C2C) is a program sponsored by cable and Internet service providers nationwide. Locally, Cox Communications participates by offering affordable Internet access and devices to students and families that qualify for the National School Lunch Program. Recently, Cox Communications expanded its outreach to include families receiving services through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
For participating families, there are no deposits, no installation costs and no modem rental fees. The monthly rate for those who qualify is $9.95 and this discounted rate is guaranteed for two years with no contract. Eligible families with children enrolled in K-12 may apply for the Connect2Compete discounted service online or by phone. Instructions for applying for the service are included on the attached flyer from Cox Communications. Additional information is available by visiting www.connect2compete.org/cox.
Fifth Grade Parent/Guardians
Legislation went into effect in Virginia in July of 2006 requiring all students entering the sixth grade to receive a Tdap vaccine. For further information see flyer.
